When you're asked to yze the diction of a poem, that's just a fancy way of asking you to talk about the type of language the poem uses. Is the language stiff and formal, or is it loose and casual? Does the "voice" of the poem, the "speaker" of the poem, sound happy or sad? Educated or ignorant? Cruel or kind? Humble or arrogant? Violent or peaceful? Just pay attention to the words of the poem. That's how you yze the diction.
