Ramadan: Muslims, what do you think of Salman Rushdie?

Although I didn't agree with the fatwa issued by those Iranian mullahs, I read his book The Satanic Verses. It was so boring that I only read up till page 30 something. Oh, in case you were wondering, I mainly read Tom Clancy's novels.
