Is my teacher right, Is race the same thing as subspecies?

All that you name above are categorisations used by humanity to differentiate between nationalities and pinpoint the environmental changes, created naturally by how near or how far we live from the equator. These categories are also used to (wrongly) tell us how inferior we are by the one pointing the finger at any given moment. We humans also separate ourselves from other primates and mammals in the animal category believing ourselves to be superior, after all, we are the ones making the lists and it is our standards which count.
