Awake but could not move my body?

Yesterday, I woke up in the middle of the night but I could not move my body or open my eyes. I could hear the TV in the other room but i just could not get up no matter how hard i tried. This was not the worst part. The worst part was that I saw a man who resembled the looks of a grim repaper; standing next to my bed and whispering my name over and over again. I know it sounds supernatural but I promise you that i am not making this up. It's hard to explain how i could see him with my eyes closed but somehow i could. After about 7-10 minutes i got up and sprang out of bed. I was so shaken by the experience that i could not go to sleep the rest of the night. It sounds very unmanly but I cried for a while after it had happened. I did not waken my parents because I umed that they would think i had a nightmare. I am scared to go to sleep tonight. I have heard of sleep paralysis and lucid dreaming, could this be it?
