Textile and Recycling smoke fumes! help?!?

So i am a bit of a hypercondriac, but i was sleeping this morning with my windows wide open, and started to smell this strong burning smell, it smelt like sparklers or burning plastic... anyway i went back to sleep for probably another 1 or 2 hours... then got up to see where it was coming from, it was so strong it was from outside somewhere.... so i looked some stuff up online and a factory and burnt down in west footscray... which is like 3 or 4 suburbs away from me... but it's still really strong, the article said to stay inside and shut the windows as if the smoke could even be dangerous still!?!? i feel a little weird... i am 2 months pregnant.... i freaking out thinking the smoke has effected me and or my baby... please if anyone could reure me that from this far from the factory it coulnd't be damaging? and if it could what risks i'd be facing?? thanks...
